Chiller Theatre 2000 Convention

David Hedison again attended the latest Chiller convention. (Oct. 27-29, 2000)

All of the celebrities that attended aside from Billy Dee and Mr. Doohan, were in a tent behind the hotel, and David barely missed the tent being blown away in a gust just before heading to it one day.

David had the most visitors of the Irwin Allen universe present, including Geoffrey Holder, Lynn-Holly Johnson, and Karen Black.

According to Linda Delaney....

"... David was his usual charming self, kind and gracious as ever. He never tired of all the fans, inviting them to have their pictures taken with him, and graciously signing almost anything. There were at times, long lines and at times not so long ones. It was an interesting place, and for Voyage fans, the female stars of Paul Trinka's cult film; whatever the name of the 'pussycat' movie was, were there in the tent."

"...David was there from the early admission about 5:30 til 11:00 on Friday; Saturday all day...he left around 6:00 to go to the city with his wife to see Henry Winkler's play...He was there Sunday all day..."
